A fisherman is missing after a smash between a trawler and a South Korean cargoship off Japan.
The accident involving the Japanese fishing boat and the 1,700-dwt Maruka (built 1985) happened on Sunday 60km east of Tsushima.
The No. 18 Kairyo Maru, a 16-gt vessel with two crew, capsized after the collision, throwing the men into the sea.
The 46-year-old captain was rescued by the cargoship.
Five South Koreans and three Myanmarese on board Maruka were unhurt. The ship is operated by Yu Jin Shipping of Busan.
