A Maersk Line boxship needed a tow from tugs after partially losing power off Norway.

The 862-teu Maersk Flensburg (built 2002) suffered engine failure and lost speed off the island of Naeroya, Norway, in stormy conditions on Monday.

The crew dropped anchor to prevent a grounding before three tugs reached the scene.

The disabled ship was pulled to Floro, where it will undergo repairs.
