The ITF union has signed up another two cargoships to new pay deals following a week of action at Visakhapatnam.

The 12,300-dwt Joyful Spirit (built 2011), owned by Yantai Golden Ocean Shipping, and the 8,600-dwt J. Shine (built 1995), owned by Jiangsu Ocean Shipping, inked signed agreements following “marathon” negotiations after calls at the port, the Hindu newspaper reported.

The deals were part of the ITF’s targeting of flag of convenience ships.

Both vessels were registered in Hong Kong.
