Brief Job Description & Details:
Seniority Level: You must have a minimum of 4 years experience as an operator
It is not essential but is preferred that you have exposure to handysize vessels
Communicate daily with the commercial team, working closely alongside them on commercial issues in relation to the voyage and time charter parties
Analytical nature
Must be able to work within a team but also on your own; be self sufficient
Technical knowledge is a key; you must understand all the problems associated with every aspect of ship operations
Must be able to use Softmar, word and excel to a good standard
Vessel voyage management
Management of dry cargo vessels
The cargoes will all be of a dry bulk nature; grain etc.
L.O.I. issue management
Final hire statements
Freight invoices issuing
Time sheet explanations
Data input into Softmare
Freight collection
Vessel performance monitoring
Excellent organisational skills are key to the success of this role
