The Group is a global conglomerate which owns and operates one of Asia's largest fleet of mixed vessels from tankers to bulk carriers. The Group is currently looking out for a suitably experienced senior management professional to manage and drive the Breakbulk operations of the Group.
You will be reporting directly to the Deputy CEO, and oversees the operations in Singapore, Shanghai and Africa, with a total staff strength of up to 30.
Your key responsibilities are to manage and grow the breakbulk operations worldwide through strategic business planning, marketing and through CAPEX investments on vessels and port equipments. You will be fully responsible for the P&L of this business unit.
To be considered for this role, you would have at least 10 to 15 years of experience in the shipping & maritime business, particularly in chartering and operating of vessels for break bulk and/or dry bulk cargoes. Strong business acumen, with proven record in managing a business unit in terms of business strategy planning, P&L, CAPEX investments, staffing, etc.
This position will potentially be based in Shanghai, and ability to communicate in Mandarin is mandatory.
