It is only non-state owned licensee eligible to provide bunkering services in China. Brightoil Group currently has interest in sales, storage of oil and petrochemical, terminal loading/unloading, marine bunkering, land & marine transportation, petroleum exploration, gas station & bunkering services. With its fully integrated up and down stream businesses and a complete supply chain network, it provides strong support to its customers and partners.

(1) Account Sales Manager, Japan

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages day-to-day sales and operations issues and foster long term relationship with an international portfolio of customers. Marketing Brightoil Petroleum superior product and services to ensure Brightoil Petroleum becomes the supplier of choice. Maintaining a high level of customer service is the key to the Account Sales Manager’s success.


Sales & Marketing
o Sales and marketing of bunker fuels to major shipping companies and trading houses in Japan
o Assist Sales Manager, Japan developing and fostering customer relationships
o Set sales target and develop account and marketing plans.
o Work with Sales Manager, supply and technical team to develop offers for key accounts
o Drive the implementation of specific volume and account plans through analysis of the customer’s needs.
o Actively identify and develop potential new accounts
o Proactively drive new business opportunity and assist the Sales Manager, Japan and supply team in port development
o Work closely with risk management team to continuously educate and present to customers on risk management products
o Develop risk management product as part of the offers in the marketing place.

Business Support
o Provide analytical support to the Sales Manager, Japan
o Drive pricing reviews including customer notification, system updates and ensuring Market Prices for customers are maintained within set levels.
o Ensure selling strategy is consistent with operational constraints and account plan
o Co-ordinate the resolution of quality and quantity complaints from portfolio customers as required.
o Provide market information and feedback to local and international sales, supply teams and management, sharing of expertise in invoicing and credit management
o Liaise and coordinate with credit and finance to ensure correct and timely invoicing for the customer portfolio.
o Monitor credit performance of customers within account portfolio.
o Ensure timely payment of invoices on due dates.
o Monitor and analyse customers’ credit requirements and ensure adherence to credit limits and policy.
o Ensure customers are aware of Brightoil’s Health, Safety and Environment policies.


QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Personal passion to succeed, team working, sharing of information, strong commercial acumen and ability to influence internal stakeholders and external parties are paramount to this role.
• 3 – 5 years B2B sales experience,
• Marine experience is preferred but not critical
• Knowledge of English and Japan language is compulsory
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinker
• Good personal organisational skills.
• Excellent commercial sales, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Ability to listen and understand customers’ needs.
• Quick to identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Self-motivation, drive/bias for action, and enthusiasm is critical.
• Ability to work with colleagues and customers of various nationalities and understand cultural differences.
• Language skills – depend on country the role will be based
