E.ON Energy Trading and E.ON Ruhrgas are taking an important step towards establishing a new E.ON global unit "E.ON Global Commodities" which is based in Düsseldorf and starts its operations in May 2013.

With a Steam coal Seaborne Trade volume of about 30MIO Mtons and an active Freight Trading Desk our department “Coal & Freight” is searching for a Freight Trader (m/f)

Responsibility:

  • Identify Freight trading opportunities, grow and develop sustainable business for E.ON
  • Ownership of freight trading activity including market development and P&L responsibility
  • Taking an important role in the physical freight and coal trading team
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with 3rd parties and traders and maintain professional standards

Qualifications:

  • Trained in shipping, experience in a similar position +5 Years
  • Experienced negotiator with Panamax/Capes, good sales, interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Strong sense of customer relationship management and ability to build longterm relations and a desire to add value and exploit commercial opportunities
  • Negotiation skills both oral and in writing, ability to work in a team. Fluent command of written and oral English, second language is an advantage
