Working with a global Oil, Energy and Transportation business - ARM currently have a requirement for a Lead Maintenance Superintendent

This position involves high level diverse maintenance and support of fleet & support to shipping operations to ensure full compliance with statutory and classification requirements.
You will review all current maintenance routines and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations in practice including  day to day Maintenance activities, and work with management to implement new procedures to improve performance as and when necessary

You will be available to provide advice and be point of contact on machinery maintenance and monitoring i.e. failures / down time, and addressing these communicating best practices. Another part of the role will be to conduct vessel performance review meetings, set KPI's, and team budgets to ensure costs are managed effectively.

Ideal candidate specification:

- Class 1 unlimited Chief Engineer qualified (Steam or Motor)
- experienced in the co-ordination of ship maintenance review processes / budgeting
- Successful track record in a similar ship maintenance role ashore
- experienced working with Risk Management practices / ship visits / Vessel Performance audits
