Business Development Manager
Our client provides global strategic maritime, cargo and supply chain solutions to shipowners and operators.
Our client requires a Business Development Manager focused on the China Market for their London office.
*Grow the revenue base in China
*Engage with Global Commercial Team and Account Owners to ensure alignment of sales approach to customers
*Travel globally in order to visit customers and sell our client services for China.
*Establish and maintain a detailed technical knowledge of the maritime operations in China to be able to expertly consult with customer base
*Work with the GM China to identify opportunities and develop new business segments relevant to offer in China
*Liaise closely with the operations team in China to ensure communication with the customer and service delivery
*Take ownership of a small number of specific customer accounts who have particular requirements in China
*Meet or exceed revenue growth targets for the business unit within China
*Ensure proper hand over of accounts and agreements to Operations for closed sales
*Experience of Bulk, Tanker, and Cruise vessel Operations.
*Experience of Maritime Operations in China
*Extensive Sales Experience within the Maritime sector
*The right to live and work in the UK
