TradeWinds Shipowners Forum Hamburg

Fresh start, fresh solutions  TradeWinds will once again host its signature Shipowners Forum in Hamburg on 2 April 2019, following a successful forum at the leading international maritime trade fair SMM 2018.

First held in Athens in 2011, TradeWinds Shipowners Forums have since been held in Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, Hamburg and New York.

Raising the bar for shipping conferences worldwide, the Forum’s attendee-lists read like a ‘who’s who’ of shipping. VIP guests, executives of shipowner principals and leading charterers make up 80% of the delegates, with the remainder sponsors and maritime service providers.
Join us for a stimulating debate about the future of ship finance, owning and operations in one of Europe's key shipping centres.  What is the future for ship finance in Europe now we near the end of a decade-long shake-out for banks? Who will provide owners and operators with funds, and at what price? What will be the real impact of Brexit on finance across the continent? And where is consolidation in liner shipping heading, and what are the implications? How are tonnage providers responding to cost-cutting by the lines, and the rush for digital solutions? And will the IMO 2020 emission rules create a fresh upheaval in pricing?
