Product Owner - Maritime, London
An opportunity to work for a market leading organisation within the maritime software and information sector. Our client offer bespoke tailor-made solutions to their clients across the globe and as a Product Owner you will lead the creation of new products and services as well as the continual development and innovation of existing product offerings.
You will responsible for the full life cycle of the assigned products and services, working closely with the sales team to understand the ever changing needs and requirements from the market as well as working with the technical development team and analytical departments.
Responsibilities shall include:
Contribute to the creation of product vision & strategy
- Define lifecycle and market approach for products and services
- Articulate the addressable market, market share, volumes and participation strategy
- Develop and recommend pricing models
- Communicate internally market news & events
Define and manage the products roadmap
- Define priorities in product improvements & innovation
- Create hypotheses and conduct user research
- Create and document user stories, personas and journeys
- Work closely with the development team on reviewing detailed requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise
- Create and gain approval for business cases for new products and services
- Work closely with a variety of stakeholders and departments.
To be suitable for this position you should have proven solid experience in the field of maritime software solutions within the Product Owner/Manager discipline or as Business Analyst.
You should have a great attention to detail, good general knowledge of development life-cycles and expertise in competitive analysis and understanding of technology trends.
