Clarksons Platou have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Broker to join our Dry Cargo team in Oslo. This position will suit a dedicated and driven broker with experience from either segment from handysize and up to panamax.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily contact with Owners and Traders
  • Able to negotiate all aspects of dry bulk market: spot/tc/voy/coa
  • Provide market insight and trade ideas to clients
  • Driving revenue and developing client base
  • Assist with creating and writing market reports

 

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years broking experience
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Computer literate (e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
