Our client is a growing provider of services to the shipping owning market segment. We are searching for a Sales Manager with a customer focus and the ability to sell solutions to ship owning organizations at the senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and conduct in person sales meetings with clients
- Manage and grow the existing account base to increase sales and market penetration
- Implement group strategies to maximize market coverage
- Develop and improve business relations with existing and new clients
- Work with operations to coordinate efforts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement new business opportunities to increase revenue generation
Desired skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience selling solutions to the maritime sector
- University degree in related field
- Excellent network within the shipping, and ship owning communities
- Excellent understanding of international trade and economic drivers
- Process driven work style and a disciplined approach to sales
- Proven ability to sell solutions at the executive and operational level
- Excellent communication skills and ability to close on business
