Senior Bunker Trader – Las Palmas
Oil Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Bunker Trader for an international trading business to be based in Las Palmas, Spain.
The successful candidate will support the current bunkering team with developing new and existing clients, liaise with other offices globally and work closely with suppliers in order to improve the supply chain. Key responsibilities include the running of own portfolio consisting of accounts based in Greece as well as perform regular market analysis to improve performance. As part of the global bunkering team, the role will provide high levels of responsibility and great possibilities for professional and personal advancement in an exciting and challenging work environment.
Key skills/responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will have some experience in Greek trading/shipping community
• Greek language skills are desired but not essential
• Ideally you will have 5+ years experience as an international Bunker Trader
• Excellent communication skills
• Dynamic, creative and Pro-active Team player
• Ability to negotiate
• Good attention to details
• Great sales person
• Willingness to travel/comfortable with global mobility
