Engineering Technical Superintendent

For this requirement, Faststream has aligned with a leading Canadian shipping company in Ontario, Canada. They are searching for an Engineering Technical Superintendent with experience tending to Dry Bulk Vessels.

Responsibilities for the Engineering Superintendent will include, but are not limited to:

• * Preparing and controlling maintenance budgets as it pertains to vessel engineering
  * Meeting vessels for on-site inspections
  * Ensuring all vessels are performing within environmental standards
  * Supervise and prepare dry-dock and survey evolutions
  * Manage all shore side contractors
  * Responsible for all performance reviews for Engineering Officers and Chief Engineers

Suitable candidates will have:

• * Canadian Citizenship or at least Canadian working rights
  * At a minimum, 10 years of marine engineering experience
  * Chief Engineers COC
  * The ability to travel without restrictions globally
  * Working knowledge of the Great Lakes would be ideal
