Regional After-Sales Manager: Marine Engines - Germany

This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced consulting sales professional with maritime experience to join a major, multi-billion dollar marine engine manufacturer in a rewarding management position. 

Our client is looking for someone to work with a range of important stakeholders and manage a small team of highly experienced sales and after sales professionals.  The position comes with strong career advancement potential and our client is only interested in candidates with the interest and potential to move forward with their career in their organisation.

Some responsibilities include the following:

  • Act as a senior management expert to the company's client support managers and to major clients
  • Act as a formal point of contact and proactively liaise with other key partners in the business
  • Increase revenue and market share across these regions
  • Maintain high-level relationships with internal and external decision-makers
  • Develop strategies for ensuring excellent product support, interaction with other internal sales stakeholders and external partners

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent communication skills are critical to this position, you must be a negotiator, diplomat, influencer and counsellor as well as a proven manager.
  • A marine engineering or related education is essential 
  • Candidates should have 9 years experience with a large portion spent in a commercial management environment
  • Candidates should have exposure to a multinational management environment and have dealt with international markets
  • Very good written and spoken English
