The Client 

Our client, a leading cruise company in the South of England, are looking for an Technical Superintendent to join their team. The position is UK based, and will involve foreign travel. 

The Role 

As Technical Superintendent you will be responsible for a number of vessels, duties will include: 

-Providing technical support to the onboard teams 
-Driving a positive relationship between seagoing and shorebased departments 
-Managing the vessels financially 
-Leading Dry Dockings 
-Ensuring that Safety remains a key focus at all times 
-Ensuring that vessels are remain in line with, and exceed, all regulations 
-Developing seagoing personnel, and working on succession planning 

The Person 

The ideal candidate will have: 
- Experience as Superintendent 
-Chief Engineers ticket is preferred 
-Degree/strong marine qualifications 
-Strong organization, delegation, management and interpersonal skills 
-10 years Seagoing experience ideally onboard Cruise Ships 
-Cruise experience 
-Developed interpersonal skills 
-Strong organisation skills and IT skills
