Sales/Consultant - Mainland Europe

Faststream's client provide Business and Operational Intelligence solutions to save large shipping companies money. 

Skill set 
*Experience of working in Commercial Shipping role ideally in an Energy Efficiency, Vessel Performance, Fleet Performance Superintendent Position. 
*Previous Maritime experience working for an Owner or Operator 
*Experience of one of the following Vessel types- Container, Tanker, LNG or LPG 
*Previous Seagoing experience as an officer would be beneficial but not mandatory 
*Proactive approach to developing the market (happy to make their own appointments from cold) 
*Passion for full cycle new business selling at senior 
*Ideal locations- Hamburg, Marseille, Copenhagen, London or Athens 

Role itself: 
*Sales Cycle is typically 1-6 months Initial Deal size: €60,000 - €400,000 + 
*Territory is mainland Europe 
*Sectors Container, Tanker, LNG or LPG 
*Typical engagement- Fleet Director/Manager, Technical Director/Manager and C-Suite
*This is not a typical Shipping sales role as the product range is not mandatory or essential; The product is presently bought by innovators who want to reduce their operating costs and get greater operational business intelligence We have full pre-sales to assist the sales lead with detailed technical discussions etc. 
*Marketing department on hand to assist and take direction from sales for organising events, campaigns etc. 
*Reporting to Vice President of Sales 
*Regular travel 50-60% of time
