Faststream's client provides software for Naval Architectural calculations.
Due to continued success they require an experienced Sales Manager to grow the sales volumes, revenues and commercial success.
*To promote, market and sell software products and services in current (existing) and new markets.
*To develop relationships with third party vendors / OEMS (e.g. tank gauging suppliers) for them to supply as an integrated capability with their own systems and solutions.
*Responsible for general client care, to be the main point of contact for clients as well as establishing personal contact with key influencing personnel.
*To identify and communicate client requirements to the software development team to maximize sales opportunities
*A degree or equivalent within the field of Naval Architecture or related discipline
*Chartered or incorporated engineer status preferred.
*Experience of selling technical software solutions
*Thorough understanding of the shipping market and marine environment
*Good understanding of ship modelling in specialist software
*Good understanding of practical Naval Architecture and knowledge of ship operations
