Experienced underwriter wanted to reinforce the team and help us to develop and grow

As part of our strategic growth plan, we are looking for an experienced underwriter to join us and strengthen our underwriting capacity,  preferably in Arendal but Oslo or London may be considered as locations depending on the candidate. 

The successful candidate will have established contacts in the broking and shipping communities, excellent social skills, the ability to connect with people and the knowledge and experience to underwrite charterers’ liability, mutual P&I and preferably also hull & machinery.

Ideally, they will also be:

  • analytical and structured,
  • a positive team player and able to contribute to a winning team,
  • flexible and adaptable, and
  • forward looking and hard working
