Senior Manager (Business Development & Sales), Shipyard – Singapore

Our client has an established shipyard business across Asia (including Singapore). They are looking for an experienced Senior Manager (Business Development & Sales) to join their Singapore Office.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

1.       Management & leadership responsibility

  • Leading a team of Business Development / Sales Managers & Executives to achieve the team’s target
  • Monitoring and managing all sales and marketing activities on a regular basis

2.       Strategy and market research

  • Together with management team, develop a marketing plan / budget
  •  Execute marketing plan and strategy accordingly
  • Creatively proposing new services / solutions accordingly to market demand

3.       Increase revenue through New Sales / New Project

  • Actively hunt for NEW potential clients / projects for the business
  • Develop new service lines / projects 

4.       Responsible for executing full sales cycle independently

  • Experienced in executing the full sales cycle, which including sales visits, presentation, solution & services development to concluding and closing the sales

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the ship-building / repair area, and / or Oil & Gas offshore industry. It is highly preferred if you have an existing and proven list of clients in the industry.

You must be an all-rounder, looking after strategies, planning, as well as being hands-on to visit new clients and closing deals. Mandarin-speaking will be advantageous.

Global / regional travelling will be required.
