Your Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve high standards of safe and pollution-free operations of vessels by ensuring that company policies related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality Assurance (HSEQA) are effectively implemented
  • Keep abreast of international regulations / legal requirements and ensure that all vessels in the fleet comply to these
  • Supervise investigations of insurance related matters
  • Oversee annual budget projection and ensure vessels operate within budgets by closely checking day-to-day expenses of the vessels and by monitoring inventory control of stores and spares
  • Supervise Superintendents in planning and controlling all activities related to day-to-day operations of vessels in the fleet
  • Ensure fleet vessels performance is within charter party requirements and Company goals
  • Prepare and plan pro-actively, all inspections related to vessels trade and maintain prompt and effective communication with the stakeholders to ensure vessels tradability at all times
  • Manage implementation of corrective actions for defects existing on the vessel and effectively plan all dry-docking of fleet vessels
  • Ensure that all technical reports required by various stakeholders from respective Superintendents are submitted on time
  • Maintain good relationship with senior officers onboard and oversee general wellbeing of all seafarer’s onboard vessels in the fleet

We are looking for Professionals

  • Who are equally passionate as us in delivering superior quality services, are self-motivated and with Class I certificate of competency or equivalent
  • Experience in Management of Oil or Chemical or Gas vessels in equivalent position
  • With a minimum of two years of sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Tankers will be an added advantage
  • With sound marine and technical operations knowledge and expertise
  • With good administrative, planning and implementation skills
  • With ability to demonstrate good time management, leadership and organisational skills
  • Fluency in English with good English writing skills is a must
  • Computer literacy is a must
