Energy Efficiency Manager - Cruise

The Company 

I am currently working with a leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Efficiency Manager to work in the companies Head Office. 

The Role 

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Marine Engineer / Project Manager (with Energy Saving experience) to take the next step in their career. 

As Energy Efficiency Manager you will enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for working across the fleet and reducing the environmental footprint of the ships, reducing operating cost and ensuring that regulatory compliance is always adhered to. 

You will: 

-Develop new energy saving strategies - and propose business cases to have these implemented 
-Plan and deliver projects focusing on fuel consumption reduction 
-Manage budgets for energy conservation projects 
-Working closely with the managerial teams on board and in the office - to deliver high level projects 

The ideal candidate will have: 

- Degree in Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture 
-Experience working in an Energy Saving role 
-Strong Technical and Analytical Skills 
-Well developed Project Management experience 
- Significant management/leadership skills 
- Strong organization, delegation and interpersonal skills 
- Cruise ship experience would be an advantage 
- Fluent English language skills
