The company.

Faststream are working exclusively with a leading shipping company to recruit for a Chartering Manager to join their expanding team in London. 

 

The role.

You will come from a chartering background with experience of the dry cargo industry from a reputable owner, operator or broking house.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Fixing the owned fleet of Supramax vessels in the Atlantic
  • Booking of both tonnage and cargoes to secure a profitable margin.
  • Making commercial decisions and negotiations.
  • Building customer relationships and identifying opportunities in the market.

 

The person.

This is an opportunity for a highly driven, self-starter to help grow and develop the business within the Atlantic.  Coming with a cargo book is not essential; however you should have the ability and contacts to build a freight book.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK.
