Shorebased Senior Technical Support Engineer - Cruise (Permanent)

The Company 

I am currently working with a leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to work in the companies Head Office. 

The Role 

As Senior Technical Support Engineer you will enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting marine technical systems, with the overall aim of reducing out of service downtime. You will also provide project management support, for specific incentives, working closely with the Technical Operations team. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

-Developing Standard Operating Procedures 
-Executing independent projects (such as feasibility studies) 
-Ensuring that project plans meet overall ship schedules 
-Defining work specifications for 3rd party contractors 

The ideal candidate will have: 

- Degree in Marine Engineering 
-5-7 years experience 
-Experience working with statistical data analysis 
-Strong written and verbal communication 
-Project management experience 
- Cruise ship experience would be an advantage 
- Fluent English language skills
