The company. 
Faststream are working one of the largest independent traders of cement and clinker to recruit for a chartering Manager to work in their Spanish office. 

The role. 
You will come from a chartering background with experience of the dry cargo industry from a reputable owner, operator or trading house. 

Responsibilities will include: 
*Working alongside the trading team to develop the trading book across existing and new markets. 
*Fixing of vessels on both spot and COA basis. 
*Providing the trading team with accurate shipping quotes and work closely with the operations team. 
*Experience with Handy/Panamax dry bulk vessels is essential. 

This position will involve travel and business development in order to build customer relationships, which are vital for developing and running a strong desk. 

The person. 
This is an opportunity for a highly driven, goal orientated individual with a proven track record in chartering, to work closely with the trading and to be part of the continued growth. You should already have a strong network within brokers, operators and owners to enable you to hit the ground running.
