Then you may be interested in a position as Senior Sales Lead for our Eastern markets in Maersk Tankers. Reporting to the Head of Management Services, you will play a significant role in developing new partners for our pools. 
The position can be based in Singapore or alternatively Copenhagen, and as the world is our playground it will involve extensive travel.

The role can be based  out of our Singaporean or Copenhagen office, but should expect to travel to meet with  potential partners.

Key Responsibilities
You will play a central role in attracting new owners of product tankers to join our pools. Today Maersk Tankers manages 80 owned and 62 partner vessels plus a number of Time Chartered vessels. 
You will be responsible for identifying commercial packages based on analysis of each client’s pain points, setting up meetings with prospective clients and analysing and reporting data while developing our key selling points and value proposition further. 
You will represent Maersk Tankers and its services externally towards senior executives of potential pool partners. Internally, you will work closely with our commercial segment heads, finance, analytics and legal teams to ensure synergy in portfolio development. 
You will develop and contribute with new ideas on specific engagement plans, as well as work on continuously refining the value proposition we offer to our customers and partners. 

We are looking for
Our ideal candidate has a relevant commercial background in the shipping/tanker industry and is passionate about building and developing customer relationships. A background in the tanker business is preferred, and a background in sale & purchase, trading houses and the bunker industry is also welcomed. 
Experience from the shipping industry is a must, as well as a good understanding of how commercial pools work. 
You are an excellent networker and you are extrovert, energetic and can put yourself in the shoes of customers and colleagues alike. 
You are comfortable to be measured on your results and passionate about close contact with customers and partners. 
This is a senior position with high exposure, so you are comfortable with communicating with and presenting to C-level stakeholders.
