CHARTERING MANAGER / OPERATION MANAGER (London-based)

Asia Maritime Pacific is a Hong Kong-headquartered international Handysize shipowner and operator, with a global reach. AMP is looking to expand its Atlantic presence and is looking to hire new team members.

 

  1. Experienced Chartering Manager – London

This role will be based in London, with the main responsibility to bring in revenue for your desk. Your duties will include daily fixtures, monitoring the market, identifying cargo opportunities, evaluating returns, drawing on your network to source cargoes and identifying potential new opportunities to add value to the desk.

The ideal applicant should be someone with at least 5 to 8 years of cargo-focused chartering experience in dry-bulk, ideally in the Atlantic region. You should have a ready network of clients for cargo fixtures, and the ability to work in a dynamic and international team.  We are looking for someone who is a strong negotiator and able to outperform market levels.

  1. Operations Manager – London/Austin

This role can be based in London or Austin, TX. The applicant will be responsible for the full remit of vessel operations, including pre-fixture support, liaising with chartering managers through to all elements of post-fixture operations, daily management of voyage and time charter operations, port agency nominations, hire / freight calculations, off-hire, deadfreight, laytime and demurrage.

The ideal applicant should be someone with at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in dry bulk operations, ideally with a Handysize shipowner.
