Faststream are pleased to be working alongside this highly-ranked ship-building organisation who are currently looking to strengthen their commercial team in the Norway. They are hiring for a Sales Manager to develop customer relations within the new-build, ship repair and conversion markets. 

The Role: 

*Reporting to Commercial Director 
*Developing new and expand existing relationships within the assigned market 
*Identifying leads and new business opportunities 
*Contribute to preparation of tenders 
*Advising customers about financing opportunities 
*Monitoring the handling of new-build orders and liaising with project managers as well as other third parties 
*Organizing customer events and consulting during commercial disputes and settlements 
*Reporting market and project developments to Commercial Director 
*Supporting the Sales Director in marketing activities 

The Candidate: 

*Must have Technical Master degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering 
*Relevant industry experience within the marine sector 
*Commercial acumen and proven sales track record 
*Customer-orientated, with Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
*Flexible to travel 
*High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure 
*Presentation skills 
*Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken
