Operations Executive / Port Captain

A well established International Trading Company in London seeks an Operations Executive / Port Captain. The suitable candidate shall be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day post fixture operational and administrative management of part of a bulk carrier fleet. 

You will be expected to
- Make a complete voyage plan and estimates
- Closely monitor loading and discharging operations
- Communicate / liaise with all involved parties
- Maintain voyage accounts and make the final voyage report/analysis
- Some overseas travel may be involved

You must be a Master Mariner (British Class 1). You must have sea going experience as Master preferably on bulk bulk carriers and shore based experience in a commercial shipping company. Computer literacy preferred. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom, the post is based in the City of London. Salary – commensurate with experience
