QHSE Superintendent

Faststream are currently working with a global entity that are the leading provider of specialist services to the oil and gas industries worldwide. All of their commercial activities undertaken in this challenging sector have the management of health and safety and the safeguarding of the environment as a key priority.

They are currently looking to fill a key position within the business, the responsibilities of that individual will be as follows:

Responsible to the QSE Director for the upkeep of practices and procedures that are in full compliance with the customers requirements. Additionally to audit against the requirements and identify corrective actions in support of the Ship Manager's.

The key duties of the role include, but are not limited to:-

 

Liaise with Flag states to ensure that Document Of Compliance's (DOC's) are maintained.

Provide support to the QSE Management in the conducting audits, both ship and shore.

Undertake TMSA audits and ensure Company TMSA submission is updated.

Undertake port assessments and liaise with Port officials and terminal representatives on a routine basis.

 

This role would suit someone who has sailed up to Second officer/chief officer/master on tankers and has some experience working in a Shore based position in relation to either vetting, QHSE etc. Any skills and experience in an administrative role will also be extremely beneficial.

The package and salary on offer is negotiable and will be dependent on experience.
