Dry Cargo Operator : London
We are looking for an experienced Operator to join our Dry Cargo division in London. The successful candidate will be a key team member and work closely with our operators and brokers.
This role would be ideal for someone who has hands on operations experience working for a shipbroker or a shipowner.
Responsibilities
- Post fixture Operations for voyage and time charter agreements
- Monitor voyage orders, vessels scheduling and input data on voyage sheets
- Completing day to day operational duties
- Chase and check load and discharge orders and documentation including timely LOIs.
- Review freight invoices and submit them to customers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years Dry Cargo Operations experience
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Commercial orientation
- Attention to detail is essential
- Good knowledge of Outlook and natural aptitude for technology
- A good telephone manner and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, diligent, reliable and willing to work out of office hours and weekends as required.
