Head of Technical Department - Global Shipowner London

Cordell Beaumont is helping a large shipowner with 100+ vessels source a new Director to head up their Technical department in London.

With a diverse fleet, this senior level position requires extensive shore-based technical experience, and could be ideal for an ex captain or senior mariner with a maritime related degree. 

The ideal candidate: 

- At least 10 years' shore-based technical operations experience

- Proven personnel management of over 15 operators or technical staff

- Solid experience working with newbuilding vessels 

- Proven experience working for a company that owns or operates over 100 vessels 

- A degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or other similar qualification
