The Commercial Manager/Ship Broker will be responsible for the growth of their own book of business. Their responsibilities will include: servicing of clients, analyzing supply and demand data, contributing to market reports, managing operational and accounting matters, and assisting with new product and software developments, if desired.
You must have a strong reputation as a great broker on your own merit, and be open to doing more business in a team environment with other strong brokers.
The preferred qualifications for this role are: 5+ years of ship brokering experience and a proven ability to serve charterers and ship owners/operators.
In addition, the ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, excels at mathematics, finds interest in disruptive technologies, is comfortable in a hyper-growth startup environment, and has a reputation as a team player.
