Alpha Gas S.A., a ship management company based in Greece, specializing in the management and operation of LNG vessels, is looking for a Senior Chartering Executive.

Alpha Gas currently manages 5 LNG carriers and has another 3 vessels under construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating spot and period charters, to achieve maximum income with resolute attention to the decisioning process.
  • Developing and enhancing relationships with key customers.
  • Contributing to fleet chartering strategy.
  • Reporting to Senior Management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 years+ of chartering experience with at least half of that on LNG chartering.
  • The determination to produce results to the highest of standards.
  • A desire to increase efficiency and productivity without losing attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate methods and results through presentations and written reports.
  • A competent and relevant appreciation of LNG Charter Parties and terms.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis
  • Demonstrating transparency in all areas of work.
