VESSEL OPERATOR – dry bulk
Based in Koch Fertilizer’s London office, reporting to the Director of Dry Bulk Chartering the successful candidate will focus on voyage relet connected to the Fertilizer business, timecharter and 3rd party voyage activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Voyage orders, planning and optimization
- Arrange and track all freight, hire, bunker and D/A payments/receivables
- Communication with Master, brokers, agents and internal stakeholders
- Negotiation of D/A’s and bunker purchases
- Arranging Bills of Lading reissuance and other documentation
- Accounts reconciliation
Required:
- Min 5 years experience as a Vessel operator
- Experience with Softmar or similar operating system
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English language)
