OceanSaver AS was established in 2003 with the sole purpose of developing an efficient and unique solution for Ballast Water Treatment (BWT). The company has successfully developed OceanSaver® Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS), and manufacture and sell this high-end green technology,  preventing the spreading of marine organisms across habitats. The United Nations consider invasive aquatic species one of the greatest threats to the world's oceans, and an IMO convention is established to firmly regulate such spreading via ship ballast water. These new international regulations will require ship owners to clean ballast water utilizing a BWTS. OceanSaver is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this market. Business will grow globally, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. The company has consequently opened offices in Korea and China, and will keep expanding in the coming years.
